The full-range RCA outputs follow your factory volume control, so your added bass rises and falls with the rest of your system. A remote turn-on output is also provided for compatible connected equipment.

Powered subwoofer, RCA cable, and any additional installation wiring are sold separately.

Does Encore Boost replace my factory amplifier?
No. It works with your existing factory amplifier by increasing the audio signal level supplied to it.

Can I keep my factory volume controls?
Yes. Your factory volume controls remain operational, and the RCA pre-out level follows your factory volume setting.

Can I connect a powered subwoofer?
Yes. Encore Boost provides full-range RCA pre-outs and a remote turn-on output. Use the powered subwoofer’s crossover settings to select the appropriate bass frequencies.

Can I use the RCA pre-outs for full-range speakers?
Yes, through an external amplifier. Processing inside the factory JBL amplifier can create a slight timing difference between the factory speakers and equipment connected to the RCA pre-outs. For full-range applications, we recommend a DSP with adjustable delay to align the sound.

Does Encore Boost power additional speakers directly?
No. Additional speakers require a separate amplifier.
